Those who work with Doug know that there are certain “Doug-isms” that carry special meaning for his students and our community—“It’s good to know stuff” being one of the most popular. Gifts in Doug’s honor will support Endowment for Faculty Compensation.

23年 Thomas taught a wide range of Middle and 上学校 visual arts courses, including all of the photography courses in the 上学校. He also served as the 教师 advisor to 山顶上, Hackley’s yearbook, as well as an 学术顾问. He has organized and chaperoned countless domestic field trips and several trips to China.  Gifts in Thomas’s honor will support The Center for Creative 艺术 and Technology, including a new art gallery featuring works by students, 教师, 和外部的艺术家.

Over the course of his 41年 在哈克利, Phil has been both a 中学 and 上学校 teacher, Hackley Summer Camp Administrator, 校网球教练, 大学足球教练, 中学 Softball Coach, 中学 Director, Acting 较低的学校 Director, Assistant Head of School, and Associate Head of School. No matter the role or responsibility, Phil operates in the best interest of the Hackley community, 总是温暖, 善良, and a wry sense of humor.  Gifts in Phil’s honor will support Endowment for Faculty Compensation. 
黛安娜Remenar
为 25 years Diane has been an outstanding and versatile Spanish teacher in the Middle and 上学校s. She demonstrates her joy, passion, and sense of humor every day. The Class of 2021 presented Diane with the Rice Award in the spring of 2021, recognizing her for inspiring their intellectual curiosity and preparing them to seize tomorrow’s challenges. Gifts in Diane’s honor will support endowment for student and 教师 educational travel.

在比尔的 21年 tenure 在哈克利, he has taught a wide array of history courses with distinction. In addition to his work as a teacher and department chair, Bill served in a number of other roles including class dean, 学术顾问, and on numerous committees. His wit and wry sense of humor will be fondly remembered. Gifts in Bill’s honor will support choral and instrumental music programs.

15年 Pat has brought to the Hilltop her deep knowledge of the health and physical education of students and has led the 体育课 Department in creating and delivering an outstanding program for generations of Hackley students. 送给帕特的礼物 will support outdoor education initiatives.
